Rise Against Hunger with our neighbors
Parkwood United Methodist Church is partnering with All Saints United Methodist Church and Christus Victor Lutheran Church to raise $6,400 for Rise Against Hunger and then pack 15,000 Meals on February 24th from 9-11 am.
Parkwood UMC’s share of funds to be raised is $2,184. You can donate online by visiting our Event page at Rise Against Hunger Online or you can write a check to Parkwood UMC and put “Rise Against Hunger” in the memo line.
Help us raise the amount we need to package 15,000 meals, which will go to folks and families around the world who need them.

Corridor District Christmas Offering
The 2018 Christmas Offering will support the restoration of parsonages and churches devastated by Hurricane Florence in September 2018. When wind and water closed many doors, churches, despite damage, remained open, serving the needs in their communities.

Come to the Table, November 18th 5:30 pm
Join us as we gather around the table for food and worship, Saturday November 18th at 5:30 pm.
We will celebrate “Small World” Preschool with this special evening of worship, fellowship and thanksgiving.
The dinner for Come to the Table this month is a Pot Luck meal. Bring a dish or two to share.
We will close the service with communion.

New Sunday School Class
We are starting the U-36 Bible Discovery Class.
U-36 means that unless you are under age 36, you are excluded and not welcome in this class.
Our focus is the youth and young adults of our congregation.
We will be using a Bible study that has been proven effective around the world.
There will be no lecturing, only questions.
Bring your Bibles, a pen and a notebook.
