Study on Philippians, “Chasing Happy” on Thursdays @ noon
Starting on Thursday, April 18 at noon, Pastor Adam will be leading a study on the book of Philippians, called “Chasing Happy,” by Lori White. Anyone can join this small group by simply showing up to the fellowship hall on Thursdays at noon. If you have questions, please contact Pastor Adam via email: adam.benson@nccumc.org.
Listening Circles
Once per month, a small group of adults (7-8 people) get together for dinner, to pray together, and to play a card game over a meal called, “My Neighbor’s Voice: Listening Cards.” The game is intentional about encouraging vulnerability with a small group, fostering open dialogue on topics that matter, and bringing people together. In an increasingly polarized world, Parkwood is working to cultivate intentional listening as a spiritual discipline. Adult Sunday School Class on Sunday Mornings @ 9:30 AM
Adult Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings @ 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall.

Sinai, the Nile, the Red Sea and the wilderness exploring the sites of Moses’ life. Using historical information, archaeological data, and biblical text, Hamilton guides us in the footsteps of this reluctant prophet who grew in his relationship with God and by the end of life had successfully fulfilled the role he was given.”
Children’s Sunday School
The children’s Sunday School class is available for ages 5-11 from 9:30-10:15 AM in Room 4 and is led by Dianne Mitchell and Dena Roberts.

Youth
The youth are meeting with Pastor Adam on 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month @ 5-7 PM, which includes dinner, games, scripture, a short reflection, and ending with a game. “Coffee with Pastor Adam” on Wednesdays
Every Wednesday @ 9:30 AM-12:00 PM, Pastor Adam invites anyone to come and have coffee with him at Starbucks (4834 Apex Hwy, Durham, NC 27713). Come and meet Pastor Adam for coffee and conversation!
Choir
Choir meets on Wednesday nights @ 6:30 PM in the sanctuary with our music director, Desiree Davis-Omburo.
Exercise Group
PUMC has an exercise group that meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @ 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall.
Prayer, Care, and Cards Group
A small group gathers normally on the first Thursday of the month at 10:30 AM to pray over every person on our prayer concern list, write and send them a card in the mail.
