Egg Collection Sunday – April 24

Sunday April 24th is Egg Collection Sunday.

We are collecting for Urban Ministries Food Pantry with a goal of 75 dozen eggs. Any we can collect beyond that goal will go to Parktown Food Hub.

You can place your eggs in the refrigerators in the church kitchen or pantry closet throughout the week or bring them with you to worship on Sunday morning.

Eggs will be delivered to Urban Ministries on Tuesday morning.

Holy Week with Parkwood United Methodist Church

Gather with Parkwood United Methodist Church as we observe Holy Week.

Palm/Passion Sunday, April 10th

• 11:00 AM Worship in our sanctuary, also livestreamed on the website and facebook
• 1:30 pm Durham CROP Walk registration at Duke Chapel with the walk starting at 2:30 PM

Wednesday, April 13th

• Wednesday Morning Prayer, April 13th at 8:30 AM

Maundy Thursday, April 14th

•  Service with South Durham Connections at 7 PM outside on PUMC’s porch

Good Friday, April 15th

• Service in PUMC’s sanctuary at 7 PM

Easter Sunday, April 17th

• Easter Sunrise service with Peace Covenant, South Durham Connections, and PUMC at the fire pit (outdoors) with coffee and juice by the fire following
• Refreshments on the porch before 11 AM service
• Easter Service at 11 AM in PUMC Sanctuary (Flowering of the cross to take place inside, during the service–Bring flowers to put on the cross during our service.)
