Visitor Information

We are an ecumenically-minded church rooted in the tradition of the United Methodist Church, and we are located in a neighborhood in Durham, NC called Parkwood. We meet on Sunday mornings @ 10:30 AM, and we livestream our services. See our Connect page for small groups.

We have an ecumenical partnership with the Parktown Food Hub (ELCA), which is located onsite and is a food pantry and community of committed folks who distribute food on Mondays and some Thursdays. Visit the Parktown FoodHub website for more information.

Sunday Schedule

Our worship services are @ 10:30 AM every Sunday, Sunday School for adults and children are at 9:30 AM. and we are currently meeting in-person and we livestream our services virtually on our welcome page and on Facebook.

Special Note:

The parking lot, which we share with our neighbors, is located across the street from the church. We share a parking lot with a mosque, Jamaat Ibad Ar-Rahman, Meditteranean Grill and Grocery, and Al-Huda Academy. As a gesture of kindness and in the spirit of sharing with our neighbors, we ask that visitors please do not park in the parking lot on Fridays. Please feel free to use the parking lot on Sundays.

Parkwood United Methodist Church is located at 5123 Revere Road, in the Parkwood neighborhood of Durham, North Carolina.

Parkwood is accessible from both NC HWY 54 and NC HWY 55. Interstate 40 is also nearby.
