This year, Parkwood United Methodist Church is hosting in-person and virtual live-streamed Advent services around the theme “Close to Home.” When something hits “close to home,” it affects us deeply, and Christians believe at Christmas, God comes close to home.
We invite you to join us for our Advent Sunday services at 11 AM, starting Sunday, November 28th. Our Christmas Eve service will be at 7 PM on December 24th, and it will be a collaborative service with Peace Covenant Church and Southern Durham Connections.

Sunday, August 22nd was Egg Collection Sunday, and HOLY MOLY! The results were two refrigerators FULL of eggs that went to Urban Ministries of Durham. Thank you to all who participated to make this event a success! (And making our pastor wear a chicken suit)
