Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Adam Benson recently began serving Parkwood United Methodist Church on July 1, 2021. He is seen here with his wife, Meghan, who is an Elder in the United Methodist Church, and his daughter, Katie. Adam loves to hike, run, read, drink coffee, play disc golf, and laugh.

Meet Our Music Director

Desiree Davis-Omburo is the Director of Music at Parkwood United Methodist Church where she has served the past 27 years (She must really love it!). She also teaches Choral Music, AP Music Theory and Piano at East Chapel Hill High School and has been there since the inception of the school in 1996. Desiree’s favorite hobbies include being Mom to her 16-year old son (Alex), playing with her pets (Max and Pretty Kitty) and hiking with her boyfriend (Keith).
