This event is a fun and safe carnival atmosphere provided by the Cub Scout Pack 495 for the entire community with plenty of games, food, prizes, and more. This year‘s Hoot will see the wonderful addition of a community Trunk-Or-Treat, hosted by PUMC Youth Fellowship group.
Boy Scout Troop 486 will be on hand cooking hamburgers and hot dogs to purchase along with chips and sodas.
It’s that time of year again…time to sign up to work at the N.C. State Fair, which will be held on October 17 – 27, 2013. This is the largest fundraiser for our church and we can’t be successful without everyone’s help. The amount of money that we earn is calculated on the number of slots we fill! As in past years, there will be two time slots available (one day-time and one night-time) for each of the 11 fun-filled days! We will carpool from the parking lot each morning and afternoon.
Sign-up sheets are posted in the hallway. We are asking that you schedule the days and/or nights that you can work now instead of waiting until later. We need to fill as many slots early in order to communicate the schedule with Creedmoor United Methodist Church.

Join us right after the worship service on Sunday, June 23rd for a fun, lunchtime event! Let’s be creative and bring some new items in addition to our old favorites. There will be a sign up sheet in the hall to make sure we don’t have 4 chicken salads. Please let us know what you will be bringing.
